 From top left, our newcomers are Hope, our youngest at 3mths old, Michelle at 3 who is the sister of Renee who is 6 and sister of Kelly who is 10.

MEET THE CHILDREN

 

LINDA: Older sister of Cornelius. Born 2/09/95. Came to the home 2006 neglected and uneducated. Now doing well and wants to be a policewoman.

 

CORNELIUS: “Colas”, brother of Linda, born 30/5/02 and came to the haven very sick and neglected. In Grade R and wants to become a school principal.

 

CHANTÉ: Nickname “Lady”. Born 3/01/06 and came to the haven in 2008.

 

 TESSA: Born 2/07/98, is in Grade 3. Has stayed with her young brother Ronaldo through 3 foster placements before coming to the Haven.

                     

RONALDO: “Naldi”, born 25/09/2000. In Grade 1. Brother of Tessa. Three failed foster placements, but now a well mannered boy who wants to be a businessman and help Nelly.

 

 

THANDI: Born about 10 years ago! Thandi has fended for herself by begging, as her mother is an alcoholic. Taken into care, she is in Grade 1 only, but today she is a confident and bright child.

 

ANGEL: Found in appallingly neglected condition by Adventure In Mission. Born 27th Feb 2008. Now a healthy toddler.

 

BLESSING: Born 19th September 2007.Left at police station after mother left him with relatives who did not want him as he was ill. Now in the Haven.
